CD Sunday Challenge - Mainly Men

I had the greatest of pleasure making this simple card for sixteen year old grandson James.  He was recently a finalist in the North West Region Junior Chef of the Year and has won a three year catering scholarship, working at the Marriot Hotel, Manchester Airport.  He recently left school and had set is heart on becoming a chef.  We are so proud of him.

I have used DoCraft Portobello Road Digital Designer and found a copyright-free piece of clipart that fitted the bill.  Not having used this program before, I found it quite confusing to use in comparison with others so I guess I shall have to go away and look at the instructions!

Thank you for stopping by and do feel free to leave a comment - all are appreciated.

  4. Janet, this card is just perfect for your grandson. I know you must be so proud of him winning this scholarship. It is so good to hear of a young person who knows the direction he wants to head and then has the opportunity to get there.

  13. Congrats to your grandson and this is a perfect card for him.
If the cd you've used is the same programme as the other Do-crafts ones then I agree they are not as straightforward as some but they do have some good images.
