Thought I had better make a Christmas card this time - just one of the long list to do! My picture and backing paper are from Joanna Sheen's Past Times CD2 and feature some of my favourite animals - horses and chickens!
I have treated the design very simply as the colour and backing paper are quite bright, so I have merely matted the image onto silver card and added some punched snowflakes in iridescent paper. The card is flat enough not to attract the higher postage rate too.
Thanks for stopping by and do feel free to comment - I enjoy reading them all.
Hi Janet, lovely card and perfect for Christmas.

Love the horses, could one of them be Finn?
Thanks for joining us again at CD Sunday.

Hi Janet, great choice of backing paper it adds to the pic and gives the feeling of a crisp winter day. A lovely card for the CD Sunday theme.

Lovely scene with the horses and how clever to think of doing a Christmas card. The snow flakes are a nice touch.

Aren't you good - thinking of Christmas while we're having a heatwave. It's a lovely image and I love the horse just peeking in at the bottom right corner.

Lovely card Janet. The colours used in the painting remind me of those they used to use in old Dutch paintings.
