I love making pictures and this week on CD Challenge, they have gone all watery.
The salmon season started last week and crazy men can be seen standing up to their chests in the freezing waters of the Spey in the hope of catching one of these magnificent fish. Personally I don't understand it at all but if green rubber and freezing temperatures does it for them then who am I to criticise?
Backing paper is by Artylicious - Essence of Nature and the scenic stamps are from A Stamp In the Hand.
Thanks for stopping by and do feel free to leave a comment. I find them very encouraging.
This is just lovely Janet, I love the image.xxx

Beautiful scene you created Janet and I would never have thought of putting it with that bp but it works perfectly. Really lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on your opinions of the fishermen. Cannot for the life of me understand anyone who would do that voluntarily, lol.

Well, Janet, this is so gorgeous. I love the colors of that paper that go so well with the outdoors. And your stamp is really fantastic. There is something very peaceful about standing in chest high waders with the cool water drifting by. Catching fish is only an extra. The main thing for me is the peace and quiet of the moving water. But not in January, only June or later.
ReplyDeleteLovely scene and great choice of backing paper. Used to take my Dad fishing but never went as far as standing in the water!

ReplyDeleteFantastic scene Janet. I love the way you've extended the scene forward with the extra stamping on the foreground.
