Bah! Humbug! #4 - An Oldie but a Goldie

My medallion centrepiece is definately an oldie - it was one of the first things I made when I started crafting and discovered the delights of embossing powder and a heat gun! I made quite a few in different colourways and this is the last one remaining. It is embossed in copper detail onto cream and pale orange card. I bought the medallion stamp from The StampMan but can no longer find it! The corners are a Clarity stamp embossed in detailed copper EP. I still enjoy using medallion stamps and find the cutting out quite theraputic.
Thanks for visiting me and feel free to leave a much welcome comment.

  1. It's fabulous - so rich and elegant. I love medallions to but after making loads a few years ago I haven't made one for ages. I love your Clarity corners. A beautiful stamp.

  2. Oh Janet I love your snowflake corners - plus you have reminded me that I have that stamp too. Love the medallion and agree with you about the theraputic feel to cutting them out and layering them up. I like doing that too. Infact I have some medallion peel offs that look great done on vellum I can feel a cutting and sticking session coming on.

  3. Gorgeous medallion stamp! It's time to brew up another batch to use on future cards, I think. I'm going to see if I have something roundish I could use in the same way. I just love heat embossing.

  6. Great card, love the corners as well as the medallion. Looks like you have triggered us all off with unused stamp guilt have not used mine for the longest time either.

  7. Fabulous card. I'm another with a medallion stamp stashed in a long forgotten corner of my cupboard. Love the corner stamps too. -x-

  8. Stunning card Janet, I lurrrrrve heat embossing and am always fascinated watching the powder as it changes. Hands up 'cos I'm another one who is guilty of owning some gorgeous medallion stamps but never using them - maybe that's cos I get fed up cutting them out - no patience y'see. Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug! and for the kind get well wishes - they really help to keep my spirits up while out of action.
