This week's challenge is a bit of a busman's holiday for me as we have been snowed in since last Thursday! I am getting a bit fed up of the snow stuff already.
The backing paper is from Rob Addams' CD Let It Snow and is the feathery pattern of frost on glass. The image is by Elusive Images and has been embossed with glittery white ep over a brayered background (Kaleidacolour - Baby Powder). This has been mounted onto a piece of very pale blue card which has been stamped with Crafty Individuals Snowflake plate and embossed.
A white chiffon ribbon completes the card.
Apologies for the very poor photograph but it gets dark up here in the frozen north very early and artificial lighting is not ideal. Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to leave a comment - all are much appreciated.
What a gorgeous card - I can feel that frost from here! Thanks for joining us this week at CD Sunday. keep warm! tess x

How beautiful Janet. The image is lovely with just the right amount of colour in the brayering and the frosty background so reminds me of the windows when I as a child. Gorgeous card altogether.

You certainly used your surroundings as inspiration for this card, Janet. I can feel the chill coming off it from here!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you're snowed in again. If its any consolation, I can't get out either.

ReplyDeleteOoh, that's lovely Janet and conjures up the perfect picture of frost on glass (memories of my childhood bedroom window on the inside).
ReplyDeleteI've never seen that Kaleidacolour ink before. What a beautiful pale shading that is.
