The staircase is a stamp by Serendipity Stamps which has been coloured with Copics and then given the Flowersoft treatment for the flowers and foliage cascading down the steps. The topiary backing paper is from Joanna Sheen's Cottage Gardens CD and the lovely lace border is a gift from my friend Jen who very kindly punches strips out for me whenever she buys a new Martha Stewart punch! This has been coloured with Forest Moss Distress Ink.
Thank you for dropping by and feel free to leave a comment - I appreciate them all.
Hi Janet, a beautiful card once again. I like the stamp and you have coloured it perfectly, nice touch of flowersoft too. Lucky you having a good friend in Jen.

This is fab and your colouring is great, as Sue says it's like a watercolour.
ReplyDeleteA little bit cheeky with the play on words but hey it is a well known expression.

Love the staircase stamp, I don't think I have seen that one. Your treatment of it with the flower soft is ace. Lovely card and clever with the words.

Oh! I adore the stamp, I tried a long time ago to buy it from JS but it became Out of Stock. You have used it perfectly, I adore your card, it is so pretty. I also love your connection to A is for Apples and Pears - Stairs- made me smile. Thanks for sharing with us at CD Sunday Challenges. Caz
ReplyDeleteVery clever take on the A theme Janet. I love this stamp and you've coloured it beautifully.
