Billy Joel's 1973 hit song Piano Man was the inspiration behind this card. The piano player stamp is by StampsHappen and has been stamped onto watercolour paper and then coloured with a waterbrush and reinkers. The piano keys have been stamped and embossed and added as an embellishment. The sentiment was a free gift with a magazine.
Thanks for stopping by and do feel free to leave a comment, I find them all very encouraging.
Love how you have done this, it is a favourite stamp but can be tricky to work into a card or theme, this is brilliant XOXO Zoe

This is so creative! Love the image and the piano keys! Your song is a perfect choice too! Thank You so much for joining us at Sentimental Sundays this week.
ReplyDeleteHi Janet, I'm pianist/piano teacher myself (when I'm not crafting or chasing my little boys around the house LOL) so I love this image and the way you've treated it. And of course hooray for Billy Joel. :) Thanks for playing with us at Sentimental Sundays, and good luck!

Brilliant use of this stamp Janet. I would have been stumped by it I'm sure but you've created a wonderful card.
