It's that time of year again! Crafty Ann has challenged us to make a Christmas card in June! I do hope you will join us and make a start on the many cards we all need at Christmas.
For my card I have used Ann's seasonal Garland which I have coloured with pro-markers and then highlighted the baubles, bows and holly with Glossy Accents. The fir bough was coloured with pencils to give it a lighter look. The background was stamped with a tiny dot stamp in pale grey to give the impression of snow. The image was mounted onto a dull gold foil card and then onto Crafty Ann's Mottled Stone paper in turquoise.
I do hope you will join us and look forward to seeing all your creations.
This is lovely Janet. What a beautiful image and coloured so well. I like the highlighting of the glossy accents (I always click pics to have a closer look) and I especially like the blue fir garland as an alternative to the more common use of green.
ReplyDeleteAltogether lovely!

Absolutely wonderful Janet, your colour choices work so well. It's nice to have a change from the tradtional colours sometimes - especially when we are making loads of cards.
