DragonsDream TIO #68 - Paying Spring Forward!

Posted by PicasaWe have had a lovely warm spring-like day here today, so it wasn't too hard to imagine all the flowers blooming in the hedgerows. Snow is forcast for the weekend but looking at the plants in my garden, spring is just around the corner. This time last year we had 3 feet of snow!
I have used the Spring bouquet from Stewart Gill for the main image, the branches are by Elusive Images and the primroses are from Cute Companions "In the Garden" set. I hope you like my take on spring and thank you in advance for your comments - they are much appreciated.

    Beautiful as always.... I noticed the forsythia is about to burst so it's not that far away is it!!! Love these flowers and the balance of your piece...

    I noticed today that the daffs are coming up in the garden. Your tag reminds us that spring is just around the corner. It's lovely and your colouring is superb.

    Janet, your beautiful tag perks me up! I think the flowers are perfect for the theme. Can't wait to see real flowers. I hope we have seen the last of snow till next winter. As for waxed paper, I think it is a dying product. I find it at the supermarket, but they only stock a small supply. It's nice to have to lightly cover up something. I guess paper towels would do as well. If you will email me your address, I could cut some into squares to send in an envelope. It's fun to do the resist.

    Beautiful tag Janet. Never heard of Stewart Gill bit I think I like his style. The primroses are lovely,your colouring (and cutting out)are superb and the delicate stamp in the background is a lovely touch.
