Christmas Tree

Posted by PicasaThis simple card is for two challenges this week.
1. Bah ! Humbug! #5 - Buttons and Bows
2. Sparkles#1 Challenge - Christmas Tree
I have used Elusive Images stamps and embossed them in Snowflake Tinsel embossing powder.
The barrel was cut out and decoupaged onto the main image. The larger tree decorations were made by sticking tiny buttons onto them and then covering with Crystal Stickles. Two silver bows complete the card.
I am very pleased with the way this has turned out as it is very glittery and 3 dimensional and needed no other embellishments. It was very difficult to photograph due to the reflections so I apologise for the rather dark photo. Have a zoom in and you will see all the sparkliness!

    A great card Janet - thought it was a tree using an embossing folder at first as it is so dimensional. Love how you used the buttons.

    When I got to the part about the buttons, I had to stop and enlarge to see those fabulous sparkly details. Janet, this is simple and gorgeous and if it had pink on it, you could have added it to Simply Less is More challenge.
