As soon as I saw this challenge I knew I was going to use this lovely view from Joanna Sheen's Cottage Gardens. It is such a long and narrow image that it really doesn't lend itself to anything other than mounting it to compliment the scene.
I have simply mounted it onto co-ordinating backing papers from the CD and also Artylicious Damask Delights. It was then mounted onto gold textured card, navy card and then onto the gold base card. The sentiment was gold embossed.
A very simple card and a very attractive one in real life although a difficult one to photograph.
Thanks for visiting and I appreciate all your comments.
Janet, I agree, this doesn't need anything else, a beautiful scene and a fab card.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing it with us at CD Sunday.

Janet, this is so gorgeous with the many layers of framing. You are so right. Any embellishment would have detracted from the gorgeous photo
ReplyDeletePerfect just as it is! Thanks for joining the CD Sunday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteIt's like Joanna Sheen keeps saying - the more you layer it up the better. A lovely image beautifully showcased.
