CD Sunday Challenge - Shades of Blue

I fancied getting inky for this one and make a picture. I didn't expect it to turn out quite so "nationalistic" but I suppose using only blues and white was asking for trouble!

The tree image is by Elusive Images and I have used four shades of blue ink, Nearly Navy, Brocade Blue and Bordering Blue from Stampin Up and Baby Blue by Memories. The trees are clear embossed and then I masked the card off and had a play.

The plaid paper is from a Papercraft Essentials CD - The Craft Collection. The sentiment is computer generated.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment - all are welcome.

  7. Hi Janet,
First an apology for not commenting recently. Apart from being away from home a couple of times I've had terrible hassles with Blogger for the past couple of weeks. I thought it was my computer but all of a sudden this morning things have picked up speed, I can get into blogs and most of all, I CAN COMMENT AGAIN!!! I can't tell you how frustrating and time consuming it has been.

Anyway, I see you've been busy and made some fab cards while I've been away and this particular one is a beauty. I love all the shades of blue and your inking is really clever. Well done, I'm quite in awe of this one!

    Hugs
    Lesley Xx
