My neighbours, Peter and Dominika are getting married back home in Poland soon and I wanted to make a card and deliver it before they left.
I know Dominika has chosen pale orange and white as her theme so I tried to incorporate it into the card design. The backing paper is by Graphicus and initially I thought it a little overpowering but it looks just right after comparing it with about a dozen other papers I had printed off and thought would go well (not).
The hearts and words were cut by my Cricut and stamped with Elusive Images stamps from the Brocade and Damask plates. One was embossed with Vanilla EP and the other with Gold Detail. A few gems on the hearts, crystal glitter to the words and a corner punch finish the card which is matted onto gold and off white.
I hope they will like it, I wanted it to be a modern card and I hope you like it too. Thanks for stopping by and do feel free to leave a comment, all are appreciated.

This will probably be the nicest card they get, Janet. It is exquisite. I love the backing paper and all the wonderful embellishments.
ReplyDeleteThe paper is gorgeous Janet and a perfect match for the hearts. Elizabeth xxx
ReplyDeleteThey'll love the card. I certainly do!! The paper works really well with the hearts and words against it. A paler colour wouldn't have worked as well.
