For this entry I chose two of my favourite colours which have an instant affect on my energy levels - acid yellow and lime green. I need an energy boost after last weekend's battle with the horse!
The backing papers are by Kirsty Wiseman and the butterflies are from a MS punch. I made the flowers from 5 discs of thin cardstock, dampened and scrunched up several times to break down the fibres. A brad is pushed through the middles and then the layers of petals are pinched together and then fluffed out and left to dry. The stems and leaves are from Stampin Up.
I jazzed up the butterflies with Stickles and Pearlidoodles on the middles. Two toning ribbons complete the card.
I am pleased with the way the flowers have turned out and will experiment a bit more using different shapes of petals.

Janet - I adore those flowers. They are just like the double orange poppies blooming right outside the window. I love them and will have to try making some like your ones. The beautiful papers and the butterflies set them off a treat.
