CD Sunday Challenge - On Safari

Being a big fan of all things from Meerkovo and eagerly awaiting a parcel to be delivered by PostCat,  I have chosen the Meerkat for my safari animal.

I have used the image  from Sharon Duncan's Animal Magic CD, decoupaged the scene and given it a couple of sprays with the wonderful Spray and Shine from Crafters Companion.  The bug backing paper is from the design set, the sentiment is computer generated.

Thank you for stopping by and feel free to leave a comment - all are appreciated greatly.

DragonsDream TIO #103 - Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium

Wonderful challenge this week chosen by Wanda.  Had a long hard think and decided to go more with the Victorian toyshop rather than steampunk.  My stamps are by A Stamp in the Hand, Creative Expressions, Crafters Companion and Personal Impressions. The colours used are Frayed Burlap, Aged Mahogany, Scattered Straw and Wild Honey. The letters are die cuts from Tim Holtz Vintage Market.

Thank you for stopping by and do feel free to leave a comment - I appreciate them all.

DragonsDream TIO #60 - Time Flying for Christmas

Posted by PicasaTime is certainly galloping along towards Christmas! For my tag this week I have taken inspiration from Clarity's Barbara Gray and made a picture inside a stamp. The large clock stamp is by Stampin Up and I just know it will become one of my favourites. The clock outline has been stamped and embossed in black and the pictures inside have been created by masking and sponging colour onto the card. The tag has been coloured with DI Barn Door - thank you Sir Tim for finally making a decent red!
Thanks for dropping by and please leave a comment as I do enjoy reading them all.

Bah! Humbug! #43 - Fancy Folds

This card is called an Exploding Diamond card and I got the instructions here. It folds down to a 4 x 4 square and would be very useful for all sorts of occasions. It lends itself quite nicely to be turned into a cracker card. My only suggestion when making this card is not to use too thick card stock and not to score the card at 6", just mark it with a pencil.
The image is from Crafters Companion and the backing paper is from PaperArtsy called Rum N' Raisin.

Bah! Humbug!#34 - A Christmas Carol or Song

The Twelve Days of Christmas is my chosen song and A Partridge in a Pear Tree is verse one. I used the glitter on acetate technique and have made a right mess in my craft room! Glitter is everywhere - on my face, in my hair and all over the floor. Am posting this before going and having a shower to cut down the fallout.

The image is by Elusive Images and is the first time I have used it even though it is a couple of years old. Corners are by my trusty MS punch. The sentiment stamp is by Crafters Companion. It looks very pretty and glittery in real life and I am pleased how it turned out.

The Children spied a herd of Reindeer ....

I thought I would indulge myself in a bit of scissor therapy this week for Bah! Humbug! #23 challenge - A Child's Christmas.

I stamped and cut out all the elements on this card and arranged them into a picture. Naturally, of course, lashings of GlitterGlass, Stickles and a gem were used.

I particularly like the stupid looking reindeer (Crafters Companion), they look rather embarrassed at being caught!

Thanks for stopping by and all comments are gratefully received.
