CD Sunday Challenge - Wings and Things

This is the first challenge for the CD Sunday Challenge and it is Wings and Things - or in my case Things with Wings! I think I have been highly influenced by the volcano in Iceland and all the dust that has been blowing in the air and covering my car this weekend.
The CD I have used for the backing paper is Joanna Sheen's Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady and the dragon stamps are by Elusive Images.
I made a mask and sponged the volcano background with Stained Walnut Distress Ink and Memento Desert Sand.
Thanks for stopping by today and do please leave a comment. They are all greatly appreciated.

  8. Beautiful job, Janet! The way you masked and sponged the background is simply gorgeous. Thanks for your remarks on poor Julia, who is destined to be chained to the washtub as she tries to scrub those outfits for her 12 children.

  9. PS. Janet you asked what program I use for my works. I have Photoshop Elements 6 on my computer. For me, it has everything I will probably ever need and then some. Some others are into the digital alateration more than I am and have Photoshop or some of the other programs that do more than PSE.

On the Gothic Arch I made I used a photo I had, made a pattern of it and filled the page by adjusting the size of the image and the receiving background "sheet". I am still trying to figure out all the ins and outs of the brush/pattern features of PSE. If this is not what you are asking, please leave another note somewhere on my blog.
