It is my turn to choose the theme at DragonsDream Tag It On this week and I went for Children or Child's Play. Bit of a departure for me because as much as I love children, I couldn't eat a whole one!
My tag uses the fabulous Crafty Individuals mini plate "Catch a Falling Star". It was a totally impulse buy for me as I am not a cute crafter at all. The characters have had their clothes paper pieced and the rest coloured in with copics. The balloons are made with a paper punch and the background is from a Kars bubble wrap stamp in Orchid Pink and Pumice Stone onto a lilac tag
Can't wait to see your interpretations of this week's theme and I do hope you will join us on our continuing adventure into Tagland. Thanks for dropping by and all your comments are hugely appreciated.
Janet, I love your tag this week - that image is just lovely! I don't do cute (except at Christmas!) much either - but loved this them.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely Janet, those children are brilliant. Love your colours too

Janet, I know you don't normally do cute, but this tag is so adorable. I love the children and how you've dressed them and how they are looking up. Such an unusual angle. I hate that you won't be on the DT any more but I hope you will keep on entering the challenges. I enjoy your beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely tag for your last week as design team leader. I think you have done "cute" particularly well. Love the way the children are looking up at the balloons.

Janet, thanks for the kind thoughts and comments. Thankfully, all our services have been restored. It was a shame to throw out a gallon of milk, a half gallon of yogurt, a gallon of orange juice, meats, eggs, etc. But I am thankful we are safe and so is the house.
