CD Sunday Challenge - Wild Thing

Posted by PicasaHaving had a Formula 1 horse ride this morning I immediately thought of a wild bucking bronco for this card! As you can see from the picture, I took the photo in the last of this afternoon's sunshine - hence the long shadows.
The image and frame are from Joanna Sheen's American Frontier CD and the backing paper was a freebie on Stamp TV. The sentiment is a freebie from Elegant Word Art and seemed so appropriate. I have finished the card with just a piece of twill tape and some gardening twine.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge #109 - Ice Cream

Neapolitan is one of my favourite ice creams so this was easy! The image is from a template I have had for ages and never used before as is the backing paper - both are from Stamptv. The image is coloured in with pencils and OMS and also Marvy Brush Markers. I have used glossy accents on the raspberry topping to give that shiny slipperiness of melting ice cream.

The sentiment is a Janet original and is handwritten with my new best friend a 0.1 black fineliner. The jury is out as to whether I should have done this on the computer instead.

Enjoy the hot weather and eat plenty of ice cream!

Rainbow Lady's Challenge #104 - New York, New York

I haven't used a stamp at all in this weeks entry. I Googled a picture of the fabulous Radio City building and a yellow New York taxi and mat gelled them to a piece of painted watercolour paper I made about a year ago!

The backing papers are a freebie courtesy of Stamptv and the heart and initial stickers are from Poundland (the thrifty crafter's Mecca).

I am pleased with the result as I really did not know in which direction I was heading with this card. It sort of evolved.

Hope you like my interpretation of New York and thanks for visiting. Please leave a comment as they are much appreciated.
